Report Cards went home Friday, October 25. If you did not get a report card, please contact the school at 488-2711. We will gladly provide one for you. You may have a fine report attached to their report card. Our librarian is happy to help get your books to the correct school for you. Please send the book or fees as soon as possible.

  • Tuesday, October 29- Girls’ Divisional track meet at Reid Ross. Admission is $3.00. Art meeting in Rm. 4 until 3:30. Pick-up is in the front of the school.   Today is our PTO Spirit night at Chick-Fil-A on Ramsey Street.  Come out and support your school. This is an ALL DAY spirit event. Be sure to say you are with Pine Forest Middle School when placing your order. The PTO table will be set up from 4:30-8:00 pm. The homeroom class with the highest participation in each grade will receive a treat!… AND don’t forget to add your name to the drawing for a chance to win a prize packet from the PTO.
  • Wednesday, October 30 –  Volleyball and Soccer @ LCMS.
  • Thursday, October 31- Football Game home vs. LCMS. Although today is Halloween, costumes, color eye contacts, hair color, etc. are not permitted. Regular dress code applies.
  • Friday, November 1 -Today is “Jeans Dress down day!”  Remember, jeans should not have holes and may not be leggings/jeggings that “look” like jeans. . Annual Red Ribbon Rally for 6-8th grade. This year’s theme is “Send a Message.  Stay Drug Free.” All students may wear a red t-shirt today.

Additional Thoughts /Reminders:

  • Saturday, October 2 – CCS’ Choice Fair will be held at EE Smith from 10 am – 1 pm
  • Sunday the 3rd  – Daylight savings ends. Don’t forget to “fall back” an hour!
  • Awards Day will be held November 7th. Remember all visitors must check-in before entering campus. After awards, you may stop by the library to check out our Fall book Fair!
  • November 13 – Winter sports begin. Arbiter Athlete is open now for all new students interested in participating in tryouts for Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball or Boys Wrestling.  If you already tried out in Fall, you do not have to do it again. In order for your child to participate in athletics, parents and students must complete the online registration at Arbiter-Athlete by uploading the 1) student-athlete physical, 2) participation form, and 3) concussion forms. The Arbiter-Athlete website instructions are located on the “Athletics Page” of the PFMS website. If have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Felder.
  • We have 3 upcoming annual charities:
    • “Kids helping kids” Thanksgiving food drive – November 4-15
    • Giving Tree – Our “Giving Tree” (formerly the Angel Tree) will be ready Tuesday, Nov. 26. Stop by the lobby and adopt a PF child (or their sibling) today. All unwrapped gifts are due to Ms. Borkowski in Student Services on Friday, December 14th.  (We try to set up the day before Thanksgiving break, to take advantage of Black Friday sales)
    • Christmas food drive – usually held the first 2 weeks of December
